Igman is headquartered in Bosnia and Herzegovina (which contrary to its name is a single Eastern European country). Igman didn’t take any notes from the Russian manufacturer’s playbook. That is why they exclusively load steel-free pistol bullets. In addition to possessing the hard, concentric jacket and streamlined profile it needs to feed smoothly and fly straight, this round’s full metal jacket can’t attract a magnet. It also can’t expand inside its target, which makes the FMJ best suited for range use instead of personal protection.
